Un eventtul day; went to bed at 11 o'clock Very early, but I want to get to work to morrow. Monday, March 20.—0n way to work I was delayed by the Sydney to Auckland mail earlier dropping some mails on me. Had to land on Insurance buildings to heave mail off. Had a smash with my neighbour. Landed in his backyard on top ol his plane Gave him my spare " moth." Very tired. Tuesday, March 21, Got summoned to-day foi holding up traffic. 1 was talking to Miss Smith with my tele-wireless and held up the Prime Minister, who was behind me in a big supor-mariiif plane. Also hit a crossing policeman in his balloon. Rather a. bad day. Wednesday, Alarch 22.—My birthday to-day Invited fifty people. Hardly had parking space for their planes Hao a few air-races foi the " moths." Ran down a few balloonists. They are a nuisance. Had a great day. Thursday, March 23.—T00k Miss Smith out. Proposed to her. Her wireless was broken, however, and I didn't have courage to "pop the question" on earth. I like to have the firm fioor of the " bus" under my feet before I feel safe enough to do anything daring. Bought a new plane to-day. Friday, March 24.—Flying over Manurewa to-day [ saw a motorcar! I was astonished. The air grow thick with planes. I had to hover for an hour and 20 minutes, before I could get away. Miss Smith's wireless still not working. I am very vexed with it. Saturday, March 25.—Miss Smith's wireless worked to-day, so wo went and got married. Flew about city for a few hours, then went home. Took my wife to the air pictures. Quito a good idea, [t is done by television. I am as happy as a lark to-night. —By Hu«b Fleminß (14 years;. Grand Vue Road, 1 Manurewa.
