An Entrlish authority writes: — lodine fe cortainlv essential for all classes of animal for health and growth, but in most districts there is sufficient iodine in the pastures and home-crown foodstuffs to supply the animal requirements.Only in areas where it has been proved that there is a shortage of iodine in the pastures and foodstuffs can spectacular results ho looked for. as, for example, in Canada and the United States of America. The statement regarding increasod eggproduction by the use of iodmo is quite •saggerated."
