" (b) Exceeds £l2 10s, a rate of 6 per cent, per annum. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland City Council to introduce a Local Bill into Parliamt-nt during the present session thereof under tne name of The Auckland City Sinking Funds and Empowering Act, 1029. The objects o: the said Bill are:— (a) To provide for the dissolution of Sinking Funds Commissioners appointed by Local Bodies whose districts have been amalgamated with the City of Auckland or may hereafter so amalgamate, and for the disposition of their assets. (b) To validate an Agreement between His Majesty the King and the Auckland City Corporation relating to a compensation claim by His Majesty \ against the said Corporation. (c) To vest in the Auckland City Council the contrd of portion of the foreshore at Point Chevalier.
