ROSEBANK ROAD BUSES.

Sir.—Being a resident of lower Rosebank Road I have room to complain regarding the bus service. People are not encouraged to settle on small holdings away from the city when they have two miles to walk to catch a bus. I know people, who (have left this part of the district on account of tho bus services. Does the Transport Board give no consideration to these places? There is not even a bus to take the children to School, which is three miles away. The only buses we do get are on Tuesdays and Fridays, two on each of those days. Take to-day (Tuesday) for instance; people standing in the rain find wind waiting for a bus which* according to time-table, should depart at 9.45. Had it not been lor a person ringing up I doubt whether any bus would have been run. It eventually turned up at 10.40. Had this have been some individual bus company I expect they would have had tho. penalty of a fino for not running to a time-table. Progress.
