CITIZENS' HOSPITAL LEAGUE.
[BY TELEG.RAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA. Thursday. At a well-atttended public meeting con voned by the Mayor, Mr, B. C. Robbins. held last night, it was decided to form a citizens' hospital league. The aims and objects were explained by Mrs. G. E Burton, a member of the Hospital Board. Visiting, pantry, sewing, entertainment, motoring, gardening, fishing and literature circles tp work within the league were set up.
The following were appointed members of the executive: —Miss Murray (matron of the hospital), president; Mesdames G. E Burton, W. J. Baigent, C. Tonkin, J. Pemberton, J. G. Green and R. McKenzie. -
