AGRICULTURAL SHIELD. GROWTH OF ORPHANS' CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AROHA. Thursday. The Wagstaffe family has presented a shield for competition to the Thames Valley Agricultural and Pastoral Association. It will be called the Wagstaffe Memorial Shield, in commemoration of Mr. A. A. Wagstaffe, who was president of the association at tho time of his death in 1926

The To Archa Orphans' Club has now the largest membership of any social organisation in tho town and is considering (he acquisition of a larger hall. The Piako Rugby Union has forwarded £3O to the Mayor of To Aroha, Mr. R. Coulter, for tho relief of families in indigent circumstances.
