COURT GOWNS.
WHAT THEY COST. A lady writing from Homo says it is not unusual for a debutante to _ appear at Court wearing a borrowed train. She adds that her own Court gown cost £SO but that the figure is not the least representative because some people spend as much as £IOO, and others as little as £2O, on tho same article, aud if one happens to have married just before one's presentation at Court, ono can use one's wedding dress, after shortening the train.
