FIRESIDE COMPETITIONS.

A NEW JUMBLE. The competitions this week are for our younger members. The first is for girls and boys from ten to twelve years of age. It consists of a new "jumble,and an original Riddle-me-ree, sent by Kathleen Thompson, Pakuranga. For the small folk, from seven to nine, I have chosen a " Tree Puzzle" and " Jumbled Fruits." The following questions must nil bo answered in the names of trees.
