IN MUSIC LAND.
Everywhere wero scenes of activity in Music Land. All the Clefs, Sharps and Flats, Crotchets, Quavers, Minums, Semibreves and lots .of other Musicalanian soldiers were lining up before General P. Forte for inspection. " Sirs," said he, in a musical voice, "I am here to-day to choose from you, the smartest, and most musical soldiers for their appointed posts in the song, ' Auld Lang Syne.' " After the customary cheers, the General chose tho best soldiers and sent them to their posts. - Among them were thoso well-known gentlemen, Major T. Clef and Lieutenant B.
