"MADE BY ROYALTY "
Brighton, the fashionable English seaside resort, owes a great deal to Royalty —particularly to George IV., who was yery keen on it. Queen Victoria "made" many resorts, both British and Continental, and King Edward VII. and the Prince of Wales have both helped to keep Biarritz in the limelight. . There are, of, course, resorts which have owed nothing to Royal patronage, but the fact remains that the chance of encounteriing Royalty—even at a distance—does prove a magnet to many visitors, and a > Royal visit is an excellent advertisement.
