The Eden branch of the Women's Chrisiian Temperance Union met in the Dominion Ittfad Methodist schoolroom on ' ' Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Hayr pre- •' sided. The secretary was instructed to send certain resolutions passed at the Dominion Convention to the Hon. A. .7. Stall worthy. Several members promised to assist in the street day collection for I the Hospital Auxiliary, and also in the temperance. department, to be arranged at the forthcoming Winter Show. The society's delegate to the Women's National Council gave her report on the meeting. The convention report was 7 ' u ||her rend and discussed and the cradle announced a very i;,' m g;mcrease in membership.
