WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB. . A nine-hole medal round will be played by members of the Waitemala Ladies Golf Club to-day. Following is the draw: —Miss Bavley v. Miss D'Authreau, Miss Bartlett v. Miss Colquhoun,. Miss Hotchkiss v. Miss McLaren, Miss L-cngdill v. Miss Lewis, Miss Jackson v. Miss Warren, Miss Moulton v. Miss MiddledijsCh. The second round of the eclectic competition was postponed until Monday next owing to the links being unplayable. On Wednesday the third round of the eclectic competition will be played. FRANKLIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. [ny TELEGRAPH. —OWS CORRESPONDENT. ] PUKEKOHE, Friday. The Franklin Golf ' Association ~ has elected Mr. J. Roulston, senr., president for the present season and Mr. H. E. Tussling secretary. » ' | The association's annual championship tournament is to be held on the Pukekohe Club's links on Saturday, July 13, the competitors to play 18 holes in the morning and 18 holes in the afternoon, the championship being decided on the score for the 36 holes. Messrs. Kissling and H. J. Short are joint secretaries for the tournament, entries for which close on July 9. Those eligible to enter comprise players of the clubs in the Franklin district ■whoso handicap does not exceed 24, and the entries are limited to 50. For the teams match, which is also decided on the tournament cards, the scores of the best six players in each club are taken.
