WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB. . A nine-hole medal round will be played by members of the Waitemala Ladies Golf Club to-day. Following is the draw: —Miss Bavley v. Miss D'Authreau, Miss Bartlett v. Tussling secretary. » ' | The association's annual championship tournament is to be held on the Pukekohe Club's links on Saturday, July 13, the competitors to play 18 holes in the morning and 18 holes in the afternoon, the championship being decided on the score for the 36 holes. Messrs. Kissling and H. J. Short are joint secretaries for the tournament, entries for which close on July 9. Those eligible to enter comprise players of the clubs in the Franklin district ■whoso handicap does not exceed 24, and the entries are limited to 50. For the teams match, which is also decided on the tournament cards, the scores of the best six players in each club are taken.
