OLD BOYS' REUNION.
ALLEYNIANS IN AUCKLAND.
The second annual reunion in New Zealand of old boys of Dulwich College (Old Alleynians) was held last evening, when a score of old boys, gathered from all parts of the North Island, sat down to dinner at the Grand Hotel. Mr. H. S. W. King presided. Tho table was decorated with tho school colours and the school arms were incorporated in the chairman's gravel and in a frame above his chair.
Although it is customary to propose the loyal toast without comment, the chairman made a departure in viow of tho special association of tho King's recovery from his recent illness with Dulwich Collego. He referred with pride to tho fact that an old Alleynian, Sir Hugh Rigby, had performed the critical operation on the King, and expressed the opinion that all old Alleynians _ would viow His Majesty's recovery as in some degree duo to tho work of an old boy of the school.
After dinner the party repaired to a private sitting room and spent the remainder of the evening narrating stories and incidents connected with school life as they remembered it. The school anthem, "Pueri Alleynienses," was sung with enthusiasm..
