FRANKTON RATEPAYERS.
WORK OF ASSOCIATION. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Friday. The' annual meeting of the Frank ton Ratepayers arid Citizens' Association was held last evening. The president, Mr. D. D. Wilson, who presided, said that during tlio year the association had made steady progress in the interests of Frankton, and had secured the support of the Hamilton Borough Council in a scheme for additional recreation areas. A protest was made against the manner in which Frankton was neglected by the Hamilton Beautifying Society. The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr. J. A. Young, M.P.; president, Mr. J. S. Anchor 5 vice-presidents, Messrs. H. \V. Row, M. T. Clephane, H. E. Garde, C. 11. Warneford; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. E. Tindle. mittee of 10 members was also elected.
