AVIATION IN BRITAIN.
NEW COMPANIES FORMED. MACHINES FOR PRIVATE USE. LONDON. May 14, As showing the groat strides that are being mado in British aviation, say's the Sunday Times, two new companies have just been formed and others arc in the course of formation. At least two established firms have decided to produce a light, 40 horse-power low wing monoplane for private owners, of whom the Air Ministry announces there are 800 qualified to hold licence!?. Owing to the cost only 136 have their own machines. Commercial pilots number 155.
