GRAMMAR SCHOOL BALL.

MOUNT ALBERT OLD BOYS. Decorated in the well-known Grammar School colours of blue and gold, tho Mount Albert Grammar School Hall presented a gay and brilliant scene last evening, when the fifth annual ball was held. The dance committee consisted entirely of men, and that their efforts to make the ball a succoss had been effective was shown by the very large number of people who were present. Streamers of blue and gold were looped from the walls and met in the centre of the ceiling, to form a large basket-shaped group of streamers. The stage at one end of the hall was occupied by the orchestra, and iri front of this were banners in alternate shades of blue and gold, eacli inscribed with the golden lion. Streamers in the school colours were again used with effect to form a huge fan in the centre of the stage and at each corner of this were arranged graceful ferns.
