After, an exceptionally stormy trip of five 'days from Suva, the Union Company's Island steamer Tofua reached Auckland at mid-day yesterday. She berthed at Queen's Wharf to land passengers, mail and a cargo of fruit and island produce. She is to sail •in her return trip to the Islands at cloven o'clock on Saturday morning. ULIMAROA DUE TO-DAY. The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa. v.hich has been delayed by severe stormy veuther on iier trip from Sydney, reports by wireless that she will reach Auckland at six o'clock this morning She will berth at Central Wharf to land passengers, mail and cargo. The vessel is to sail on her return trip, to Sydney on Friday THE RAISDALE. With a full cargo of basic slag from Antwerp the steamer Raisdale is due at Auckland at an early hour this morning. She v.ill berth at King's Wharf to unload a fiuontity of cargo lo the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The remainder vS the cargo is for New Plymouth. NORTHERN COMPANY'S VESSELS. t The Northern Company advises that the iApanui, after being delayed by stormy ■weather at Northern ports, is due back at 'Auckland to-morrow morning, instead of today. In consequence of the delay her departure for Great Barrier has been costJ>oned until to-morrow night. Owing to the rough weather in the sulf the Kawau's trip to Kawau. Leigh and ManKawoi was abandoned yesterday and the vessel was despatched to Warkworth instead. in place of the Omana. She is due back at Auckland early this morning. The i Union Company's intercolonial steamer -Maunganui reached Sydney -from Wellington yesterday. She is to leave Sydney on Friday and is due at Auckland nest Tuesday. THE PORT. DUNEDIN. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line tnotorship Port Dunedin is scheduled to clear Liverpool on May 25 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. THE KIA ORA. Advice has been received by the Shaw. Savill and Albion Company that the Kia Ora was despatched from London last Friday afternoon with general merchandise for discharge at Dunedin, Bluff, Lyttelton and Nelson. She is scheduled to reach Dunedin on June 16. THE PORT DARWIN. Wet weather on Monday evening delayed the loading of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin at Queen's Wharf. RUAHINE NEARING SOUTHAMPTON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine is due at Southampton from New Zealand at midnight to-night. She was despatched frojn Wellington on April 4 and was scheduled to reach- Southampton an May 8. PORT CURTIS AT MONTEVIDEO. En route from New Zealand to London the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Curtis is reported to have reached Montevideo last Sunday. She sailed from Wellington on April 20. KENT FROM LIVERPOOL. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal Line steamer Kent is scheduled to arrive from Liverpool next Tuesday. The vessel has general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and New Plymouth. MAIMOA'S FAST STEAMING. A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd.. have received advice that the Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Maimoa cleared Panama last Sunday, en route from Glasgow and Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is makinc faster time than was expected and she is now scheduled to reach Auckland on June 1, three days ahead of her former schedule. K AITANG ATA DELAYED BY STORM. The Kaitangata left Westport at eleven o'clock on Saturday morning and was due at Auckland this morning. According to her wireless advico she is being: delayed by heavy weather and will not arrivo before midnight to-night. Sho has a coal careo, which will be unloaded at Prince's Wharf. STEAMER ORETI TO BE SOLD. The small steamer Oreti is to bo sold by auction, under instructions from the Admiralty Marshal, at Dunedin, on May 24. The vessel wtis formerly named the Baden Powell, and she was built at Nambucca River, New South. Wales, in 1900. She is a v.'ooden vessel, and is fitted with engines of 90 i.h.p. She is 110.2 ft. in length, with a 2G.lft. breadth and a depth of 7.Bft. Her tonnage is 174 gross, and her speed is eight knots. C. AND D. LINE LONDON STEAMERS. Running under the auspices of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line the Valacia is scheduled to reach Lyttelton from London on June 4. Her other discharging ports are Port Chalmers. Bluff and Timaru. The company's motorship Port Alma is to leave London on June 19 for Wellington and Auckland. She is to be followed by the Port Bowen, which is to be despatched from London for Suva. Auckland and Port Chalmers on July 81. A. AND A. NEW YORK STEAMERS. The Edgar Company's steamer Wirral, under charter to the A. and A.
