SEXUAL OFFENCES.
Sir, —Every right-minded man and woman will approve of the letters written by" K.L.M.C.," "Ex-Infant Mistress,' and "Mother." It is indeed hard to understand a jury, which is supposed to consist of decent men, recommending to mercy brutes who commit such crimes. These t*'o creatures were neithor too young nor too old to realise what they were doing. There is far too much maudlin sympathy shown to criminals to-day, and as "K.L.M.C." remarks, "it merely puts a premium 011 crime." Parent.
