From New York, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland is scheduled to reach Auckland next Monday. The general merchandise cargo is for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Heather, Roberton, Ltd., are the local agents. THE ROTORUA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua is expected to sail for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, Lyttelton and Wellington this evening to continue loading for England. The company advises that the vessel's departure from Wellington for Southampton and London, via Panama, has been postponed until three o'clock in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 29. REMUERA REPORTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera, which was scheduled to Teach Wellington from London and Southampton on Friday, has reported by _ wireless that she will not arrive tintil six o'clock next Monday morning. In addition to passengers and mail for New Zealand, the vessel has general merchandise for discharge at Wellington, Napier and Auckland. AWAHOU AND PUKEKO. The Richardson steamer Aw.ahou was due at Portland Inst night and is expected at Auckland to-rtight. She is to leave Auckland for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne at five o'clock to-morrow evening. The company's steamer Pukeko is expected at Auckland about Friday to load again for East Coast bays, Napier and Wftiloa. TOFUA FURTHER DELAYED. Tile Union Company's Island steamer Tofua did not reach Auckland from Fiji last night, us was expected. She reported yesterday that she was being further delayed by the stormy conditions and would not arrive until to-day. Her _ passengers, taoil and cargo from Tonga. Fiji and Samoa V.ill bo landed at Queen's Wharf. NORTHERN COMPANY VESSELS. The Northern Company has received advice that the Apanui was sheltering from an easterly gale at Houhora yesterday. Owing (o the delay, it is doubtful whether the vessel can return to Auckland toTnorrow morning, according to schedule, and sail for Great Barrier to-morrow night. Owing to the stormy weather in the Haufaki Gulf yesterday, the Kawau's sailing for Kawau. Leigh and Mangawai %vas positioned until noon to-day. . The depnrturo of the Otimai for Opoliki aud Kutarere, and of the Tuhoe for Whakatnne, has been postponed until four o'clock this afternoon. AORANGI FOR OVERHAUL. The Union Company's steamer Maheno, *rhich is relieving in the Wellington-Lyttel-ton ferry service, will afterwards relieve the Maunganui in the intercolonial service. The Maheno is timed to leave Wellington for Sydney on Juno 21. The Maunganui will then transfer into the San Francisco mail service in place of the Makura, which is to take up tho Vancouver service while the Aorangi ia withdrawn for overhaul. The Maunganui will leave Sydney on June 13 fttid Wellington on June 18 for San Francisco. The Aorangi will withdraw when she reaches Sydney from Vancouver on June 22. In her place- the Makura will be despatched from Sydney on June 27 and from Auckland on July 2 for Vancouver.

THE BENHOLM. In continuation of her voyage from New York, the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Bfenholm is to sail for 'Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin at bem to-day. HOKIANGA DELAYED. The auxiliary schooner Hokiangn ' left Hokianga for Onehunga on Sunday, but owing to the strong head wind and rough seas she had to return to port. THE PONO. The Northern Company's auxiliary schooner Pono left Auckland for Mercury Bay and Tairua at five o'clock last_ evening. Owing to the stormy Weather in the Hauraki Gulf she returned to port two hours later. CUMBERLAND LEAVES LIVERPOOL. The Federal Line steamer Cumberland sailed from Liverpool o® Saturday with general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, AVellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Port Chalmers and Bluff. She is due at Auckland on June 18. THE PORT DARWIN. The Commonwealth and _ "dominion Line steamer Port Darwin, which is filling up with New Zealand produce at Queen's "Wharf, is expected to sail for New York, Boston and Halifax this evening. Loading operations on the vessel were delayed by rain yesterday morning. MAKURA AT SAN FRANCISCO. The Royal Mail liner Makura reached Snn Francisco on Friday. The vessel is to sail to-morrow on her return voyage to New Zealand and Australia. She is duo back at Wellington on June 3 and at Sydney on June 8. WESTMORELAND AT PANAMA. The Federal Line steamer Westmoreland, which sailed from Dunedin for London. Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool on April 14, is reported to have reached Panama last Friday. THE R.M.S. NIAGARA. The Union Company advises that the Royal Mail liner Niagaira, which is due at Auckland from Vancouver,- via Honolulu and Suva, next Monday, is scheduled to sail for Sydney at four o'olock on the following afternoon. THE lONIC. With passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand the Shaw. Savill and Albion liner lonic is to be despatched from Southampton on May 24 for Auckland and Wellington. She ia due at Auckland on July 1. MELBOURNE PASSENGER SERVICE. The Union Company's intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka is scheduled to leave Melbourne for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff to-day. The vessel is due at Wellington next Sunday, and she is to clear Bluff for Melbourne on May 25. THE TREGENNA. The Hain Line steamer Tregenna reached Wanganui from Now Plymouth on Sunday to complete unloading phosphates. From Wanganui the vessel will proceed to Westport to replenish her bunkers before she returns to Nauru Island to load another phosphate cargo. THE CAMBRIDGE. The Federal Line steamer Cambridge left Port Chalmers yesterday for Lyttelton, Wellington. Napier and ..Auckland to continue loading for New York, Boston, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool. She is to be despatched frani Auckland for New York on June 4. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. ULIMAROA DELAYED BY STORM. Stormy weather is delaying tho HuddartTarker steamer Ulimaroa, which was due at Auckland this morning with passengers, mail and cargo from Sydney. A wireless report from the vessel yesterday stated she was encountering a severe storm, and her arrival is not expected until to-morrow. She is to berth at Central Wharf. THE WAIPAHI. The Union Company's Island steamer Waipahi, after loading fruit at other,ports in the Cook Islands, returned to Rarotonga at 6.30 a.m. last Friday. The vessel ia scheduled to sail from Rarotonga to-day and to reach Auckland on May. 22.

THE RUAHINE. - The next New Zealand Shipping Company liner to leave England for New Zealand will be the Ruahine, which is scheduled to clear Southampton on Juno 7. The cargo will be unloaded at Wellington and Auckland. The vessel is due at Wellington on July 12, and at Auckland about a week later. HURUNUI LEAVES LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the steamer Hurunui was despatched from London last Friday with general merchandise for discharge at Suva. Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth. The vessel is due at Auckland on June 24. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
