There was a total offering of 4900 skins and 1010 hides and calfskins. There was the usual attendance of buyers, and competition was keen throughout the sale.' The prices were: Dry Sheepskins.—Well-cared-for skins, suitable for export, wore on a par with late-rates; others, id to id lower. Halfbred, 12d to 12id; fine crossbred. 9jd to 123 d; medium crossbred, Hid to 13! d; coarse crossbred, lOd to Hid; half wools, 9d to 12Jd: quarter wools. 83d to Hid; pelts, s}d to 11Jd. Salted Skins.—Full, late rates. Pelts, nono offering; quarter wools, 5s 5d to Os 8d; half wools, 5s 3d. to 8s sd; three-quar-ter wools, 7b to 9a; full wools, 8s Id to 9s; extra large, none offering; lambs, 3s lOd to 7s 0d Hides.—Heavy ox, id to {d higher. Lights and mediums, on a par. Cow, id to Id lower. Calf, id to Id lower.
