At the annual meeting of the Waipa Ladies' Hockey Association last evening advice was received from the Auckland Ladies' Association that affiliation had been granted. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P. ; president, Mr. E. J. Spifers; vicepresidents, Messrs. A. S. Wallace, W. J!. McAdam, Scott Mucky, F. C. Perry, E. Bowman and C. A. Finch; secretary, Miss W.' Wallace; executive committee, Misses R. Isaac and L. Leatham (Otorohanga), Misses A. Lees and I. Irwin (Te Awamutu). Misses E. Mackv and M. Notion (Paterangi), and Misses M. Darvell and <J. Smith (To Kuiti); delegato to association, Mr. A. Twinainc. Tho opening date of the rosn howl competition was fixed for May 18.
