ALLEGATION OF SLANDER.

CLAIM FOR £SOO DAMAGES. BUSINESS MEN AT LAW. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Friday. A claim for £SOO as damages for alleged slander was made by lan Meiklejohn Matheson, clothing manufacturer, of Wellington, against Henry Schneideman, merchant, also of Wellington, in the Supreme Court to-day. The case was adjourned until to-morrow after the evidence of plaintiff had been heard.
