'A E,(ory of an alleged daylight hold-up fend robbery was told to detectives in Sydney this afternoon by Allan Edwards, aged 25, employed by a firm of plumbers and gasfitters in the city. Ho asserted that ho had obtained £3OO from the Commonwealth Bank. It represented the images of his fellow employees. lie went on to say that ho was carrying the money in a small attache case when a man came up behind him in tho subway at St. Jarres' underground station arid dealt him two blows on the head and thrust two fingers into his mouth to prevent him calling for assistance. The man then threw him down, said Edwards, snatched his bag containing the money, and disappeared outside tho subway among a crowd of pedestrians. Edwards looked little the worse for his experience.
