The first day of the Forburj Park Trotting Club's meeting was held in fine weather to-day, before a largo attendance. The track was somewhat heavy and slow after overnight rain. The fields were very large and the racing interesting. The totalisator handled £21,950 10s for the day. compared with £'21,211 10s on the first day last year. Results were:— BAYFIELD HANDICAP.
