PRESENTATIONS MADE.
At the conclusion of the meeting of th* Otahuhu Borough Council on Wednesday evening the members of the council were the guests of the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Ciements, at a social function. The presentation of a clock was made to 1 the retiring Mavor, Mr. R. B. Todd, by the Mayor, who, on behalf of the citizens of the borough, eulogised Mr. Todd's past services.' Tho Mayoress, on behalf of tue ladies, presented Mrs Todd with *
bouquet. On behalf of the members or the old and new council, Mr. G. • Fearce presented a silver teapot to Mr. H. J. Hall, who has served the j bor ° u for 30 years as councillor and K«a Board member.
