LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY.

A meeting of (he recently-formed social cluli in connection with llto Little Theatre Sorii-ty was held in the. club rooms in Wyndhani Street, Inst- evening. Thb president, Mrs. Humphrey Clark, presided, the members being received by Mrs. Robert Finlayson, secretary, and by Sister Hovey. In referring to tlio object of (lie chili, Mrs. Clark sairl it was to enable members to meet together in between productions to discuss plays and introduce new ideas. Mr. L. P. Leary, president of the. parent society, gave' a brief outline of the constitution of the social club and defined its relationship with the Little Theatre Society. A reading of "The House with (lie Twisty Window" by Mary Packington was produced by Mrs. Hartley Baxter, the cast, including Miss Mona Wallbank, Miss Marjorie Simpson, 'Miss Isabel Lonergan, Mr. Ruddy, Mr. Bruce Elliott, Mr. Lees Bnllot and Mr. Norton Hammond. This was listened to with greatappreciation by the members, tho readers interpreting their parts very successfully. Supper was served and later in the evening a committee for the. ensuing year was elected.
