SOUTH ISLAND RAILWAY.
WORK ON MAIN TRUNK. CONTRACT LET FOR HUTS. [by telegraph.—:press association.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. A contract for the erection of huts which will be used in connection with tho South Island Main Trunk railway construction has been let by the Government. The successful tenderers were Messrs. Ward, Taylor and Company.
