DOCTOR TO PAY £SOOO.
INJURIES TO PATIENT. TREATMENT BY X-RAY. MELBOURNE. May 1. After a trial which lasted for nine days judgment was entered for the plaintiff, Mr. John Stout, for £SOOO against Dr. Joseph Downing, for serious injuries inflicted upon Mr. Stout, who alleged that as the result of the negligent use of the X-ray treatment he was seriously burned and incapacitated.
