NAVAL DISCUSSION.
BRITAIN AND AMERICA.
EARLY CONFERENCE PREDICTED. United Service. LONDON, April 30. The political correspondent of the Daily Herald says he learned to-day that if the preliminary discussions between British and American experts on naval reduction are successful a naval conference with the principal Powers will be called this year to replace the Washington Conference fixed for 1931.
It was stated to-day in British official circles that the United States had already made known to Britain sufficient details of its proposals in addition to those published to permit the immediate commencement of the conversations.
