HIGH SNOOKER SCORE.

WORLD'S RECORD BREAK. What is claimed to be a world's record snooker break, 134, was made by Sir. E. J. O'Donoghue, a well-known local player, during a friendly ganio yesterday morning. The possible is 147, and the existing world's record break as recognised by the British Billiards Control Council, is 100, made by Mr. J. Davis, of London. Mr. F. Smith, of Sydney, claims a break of 116, and a Canadian, Mr. C. Stanway, claims to have made a break of 117, but neither of theso performances has been . officially recognised. Mr. O'Donoghue's previous best break was 102, made at Newmarket on June 24, 1927. This is recognised as a New Zealand record. His latest performance will bo brought tinder the notice of the British Billiards Control Council, the acknowledged authority on billiards matters.

At the beginning of the game Mr. O'Donoghue broke the reds, potting on a, and went on to pot the remaining 14 reds and colours, finally potting all the balls in one visit to the table, his opponent not getting a shot. In the course of the game he potted nine blacks, four blues, one pink, one- green and all the remaining colours. This is the first tinva all the balls have been potted in one visit to tho table.
