REQUEST FOR PLAYING AREAS
APPROVAL OF TRANSFERS
ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY. The management committee of the Auckland Rugby League met last eveuiiig. Mr. G. Rhodes presiding. The Auckland Football Association's request for the use of two playing Grounds at Walker's Koiul, already allotted to the League, was declined owing to the shortage of grounds.
A request from the Papatoetoo Club for assistance in the purchase of jerseys was referred to the finance committee, with power to act.
Tho following applications for transfers were approved:—D. Duane, Eastern Suburbs (Sydney), to Marist; J. Slavin, Hamilton, to Mangere; W. 11. Skelton, Hamilton, to Ponsonby: S. G. Clark. Parnell, to City; R. Purdy, Point Chevalier, to Marist; W. York, Kingsland, to Parnell; L. Barchard. Ponsonby, to City; N. Campbell, Otahuhu, to Marist; V Speight, Ellerslie, to Northcote. The application of A. J. Clarke for a transfer from Newton to Marist was ruled out. of order, and referred to tho Newton Club.
