MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

NEW SOUTH WALES TOUR. TRIAL MATCH ON JUNE 3. The management committee of the AuckIflud Rugby Union met last evening, Mr. 11. frost presiding. Tbo chairman referred to the death of Dr. E. Williams, an honorary surgeon to the uniou, and it was decided to send a letter of sympathy to the relatives of deceased. It was decided to allow the Kingsland Club to play in the senior grade B competition.

The Trinity Chub applied for affiliation through the Grafton Club. Tho application was granted, the colours of tho club to bo loyal blue jersey with gold bard. The New Zealand Rugby Union forwarded particulars regarding the trial match to be played at Wellington on Juno 3. The letter was referred to Mr. V. R. Meredith, Auckland selector.

It was decided to recommend tho following plajers for reinstatement to the New Zealand Rugby Union:—A. C.. Aspden, G. H. Kaka, A. A. Pulman, H. G. Robertson. R. Philp, J. W. Davis and R. W. Wheeler. The following transfers were approved:— W. Larsen, Marist to College Rifles; L. Moore, Marist to Grafton. The Hawke's Bay Union wrote protesting against the New Zealand Unioji's decision to play a trial match on Juno 3 on .account of such fixturo interfering with iset representative games on that date. It was decided that tho union was in (sympathy with tho Hawke's Bay protest. It ■was also decided to advise the Hawke's Bay Union that unless the New Zealand Union could put forward a sound reason for tho early tour to New South Wales this season, the Auckland Union would support the Canterbury Union's motion that the tour bo postponed for one mouth. _With reference to tho New Zealand Union's proposal that in view of the British team's tour next season all matches this season and next be played under international rules, it was decided, at the request of several clubs, to hold a special general' meeting next Thursday to discuss the proposal.
