BANKRUPT CONTRACTOR.
LOSSES ON PICTURE SHOW. OFFER MADE TO CREDITORS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] DAJIGAVILLE, Wednesday. A meeting of creditors in tho bankrupt estate of Clivo Horace Parr, contractor, was held at Dargaville yesterday. Liabilities were shown as £lOlO and assets as £72.
Bankrupt, who combined a picture show business with his contracting, gave several causes for his bankruptcy. Chief of theso were the laying tip of a .heavy lorry which the traffic by-laws prohibited the use of and losses entailed in connection with a picture show. Bankrupt offered tc make a payment of 30s a week to his creditors.
The offer was accepted and a recommendation was passed that bankrupt's discharge be opposed until he had paid 10s in the pound.
