PRICES AT HAMILTON. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. 3 HAMILTON, Tuesday. Beef cattle were yarded in large numbers at the Frankton fat stock salo to-day, prices being on a par with last week. There was only a small yarding of sheep, which sold at improved, rates. Pigs were in good supply and were disposed of at late quotations. MARKET REPORTS. FRUIT AND PRODUCE PRICES. The-demand for good quality , local apples showed an improvement at jesterday's sales at the Auckland City Markets. There was a poor demand for pears, while lemons were slow of sale. Hutt tomatoes brought only 3s to 4s a case, a decrease of 2s 6d on last weefs prices. Best lines of Te Kauwhata {[rapes realised 5s to 9s 6d a case, an increase of 2s. Larger quantities of pasisionfruit sold' at lower values. Persimmons were very slow of sale. The field produco market is still heavily supplied with local potatoes, citron melons and pumpkins. Good supplies of all other lines of vegetables met, with a fair demand.
