REPORTS OF MANAGERS. Lucky Shot.—Tho winze on the Vain reef north of No. 1 winze has been extended 7ft. for th;> week. Tho reef is a very strong body
of ore. Three feet. fiin. of tho footwall portion is exposed with no harigingwall in sight. Tho quartz broken out from this footwall portion shows colours o'i gold and is very heavily mineralised. Tbo prospects in this winzo fully warrant the, pushing out of ,the low level to intersect this reef below which will givqr another 100 ft. of backs.
