STUART-MOORE. : The marriage of • Miss May Emily Moore, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Moore, of Sherborne Road, Mount Eden, to Mr. Maxwell Stuart, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Stuart, of Bassett Road, Remuera, was celebrated in the Mount Eden Congregational Clmrch yesterday afternoon. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of parchment georgette mounted over shell pink, with a yoke and flaro' on the skirt of guipure lace. Her veil of embroidered tulle was arranged on the head with clusters of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of white and pink flowers. Miss Madge Stuart and Miss Rae Moore were bridesmaids. The former wore a frock of shell pink georgette with a pin-tucked bodice and tiered skirt edged with silver lace. Miss Moore was in a frock of duchess blue georgette with a lace yoke and a skirt of handkerchief frills edged with lace. Both bridesmaids wore tulle hats and carried bouquets to tone with their frocks. Mr. Gordon do Tourette attended the bridegroom as best man and Mr. George Moore was groomsman. Mrs. Moore, mother of tho bride, wore an ensumble of silver-grey and floral marocain, with a grey felt hat. She carried a posy of mauve flowers. Mrs. Stuart, tho bridegroom's mother, wore ravenswing blue georgette relieved with fawn, and a navy hat trimmed with ospreys. She carried an autumn-shaded bouquet.

DENNETT—VAIL. St, Patrick's Cathedral was the scene of the wedding; yesterday afternoon of Miss Hazel Vail, daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. A. F. Vail, of Edendale, to Mr. Thomas James Dennett, only son s of Mrs. B. Dennett, of Haw era. The Rev. Father Gondringer performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Ralph Vail, wore a frock of cameo pink taffeta and tulle. The tight-fitting bodice was of taffeta and the bouffant skirt was of small tulie frills, which were embroidered with silver. The waist was outlined with large pink and silver flowers and a bow of taffeta from one side fell below the hem. Her pink tulle veil, which formed a train, was arranged on the head with a pearl coronet, and she carried a shower bouquet of pink and .white roses. The two chief bridesmaids, Miss Eileen Vail and Miss Mary Vella, wore frocks of briar rosp georgette with uneven hems edged with silver lacepaml turbans of silver lame. They carried > shower bouquets of pink flowers. Miss Joy Hancock and Miss Ima Burns were also bridesmaids, and wore frocks _of briar rose georgette with handkerchiefpointed skirts, and head-dresses' of pink tullo and silver lame finished at each side with a large butterfly bow. They carried .posies of pink flowers. Little Pat Chaplin, of Dargaville, was trainbearer, and wore a shell pink taffeta frock with a petalled skirt and a tulle and silver head-dress. Mr. Lance Harris attended the bridegroom as best man and Mr. Owen Kelly was groomsman. Mrs. Vail wore a frock of black georgette with a black lace skirt, and a fawn ruched velvet hat. Mrs. Dennett wore a saxe blue crepe de chine frock with a hat to tone. , ■' CAME—HUNT. . ' St." Barnabas' Chnrcli, Mount Eden, was the scene of the wadding last evening of Miss Isobel Hunt, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Hunt, of Valley Road, Mount Eden, to. Mr. William John Came, ser.ond son of Mr. and the late Mrs. M, P. Came, of Whangaripo, Wellsford. The Rev. E. E. Bamford performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore -sf white; frock a corsage of ivory satin und a bouffant . skirt of petallecl tulle outlined at the waist with diamante. Her embroidered tulle' veil formed a train and was arranged on tlio head wit i a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of white flower!!. .Thc bridegroom's sisters, Miss .Eva Came and Miss Elsie Came, were bridesmaids and were dressed respectively in. almond green and lemon georgette. The frocks were made with skirts of flared tiers, and from the shoulders to the waist at the back was a circular frill of picot-: edged .georgette. They wore picture hats of tulle trimmed at the side with a rose, and carried bouquets to tone with their frocks. The bridegroom, was attended by his two brothers, Mr. Stanley Came and Mr. Leslie Came, as best man and groomsman. Mrs. Hunt, mother of the bride, wore a frock of navy blue crepe de chine with a navy coat and small blue satin hat. . • i 'M 'M ■- . -T- '• , FOXON—ARMSTRONG-. v The marriage took place, recently at the Parish Hall, Mount Maunganui, of Marion Edith' Burgoyn'e, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Armstrongs of Mount Maunganui, to John Montagu, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. J, D. Foxon, of Sheffield,, England. The Rev. of Taurariga, performed the. ceremony. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of primrose satin with a heavy pearl embossed frontal panel. The famiiy veil of Brussels lace was held in pla'ce by a pearl bandeau and side ornaments and she carried al shower bouquet of yellow crocuses and asparagus fern. . The matron of honour, Mrs. Hector Clarke, cousin of the bride, wore a period ■" frock of salmon pink taffeta trimmed, with guipure laco and a tulle headdress to match. Her .bouquet was cf chrysanthemums and asparagus fern. Mr. L. Armstrong was best man. Following tho ceremony, a reception was held v at4he residence of the bride's parents, where a large number of guests were entertained and the usual toasts honoured. For travelling the bride wore Ji smart, costume of new blue rep with hat to tone.
