LATE DR. BICKERTON.
[I)V TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CHRISTCnURCH. Monday. The ashes of tho late Professor A. W. Bickerton, tho famous scientist and professor emerituj •of Canterbury College, who died in London on January 22, have arrived at Christchurch. They are in tho keeping of Mr. E J. Howard, M.P., and Dr. J. Guthrie. The urn containing tho ashes will probably be placed behind a memorial brass plato at Canterbury Col lego.
