Tho annual mectiug of the South Auckland Rugby Union was held here to-da./, the president, Mr ,7 Dean, presiding Delegates were present from tho Manukau. Franklin, Pukekohc aud Waiuku Unions. Tho balance-shee'- presented by the secretary, Mr. W J. Short, showed accumulated funds totalling £lOl.

Officers were elected for the ensuing seaion as follows:—Patron. Mr. J. N Mijssey, M.P.; president Mr. J. Dean; vice presidents, Messrs. J. R. Wilson, E. C. Foote D. Jamicson. H. Curd, G. Carter, H. It was announced that Mr. J. N. Massey, M.P., was donating a cup for competition and ths union's thanks were accorded him.

The Thames Union asked for a tentative date for a match between Thames and South Auckland this season in return for tho mutch at Tlmiiiics last season. It was decided to suggest either May 25 or June 3.

A meetina will be held in three weeks to arrange the draw for the union's competitions.

It was .decided to take steps to have tho boundary between the South Auckland Union district and the iiewl.v-formed Tau•piri Union diatric defined, tho Waikare Union to be first consulted in the matter.
