Bankrupt traced the beginning of his difficulties as far hack as te:i years ago, when he had experienced trouble owing In sickness, and lost time during the influenza epidemic. From then to tho present time ho had been sued for different amounts, and large sums had been silent in Court expenses. After taking legal advice he had called a meeting of creditors last October, when it was agreed I bat ho should pay 10s a. week, to be distributed pro rata. His creditors had Mien decided to take no further action without, first notifying his solicitors, but one had issued a warrant, and ho was left with no option but to file. " I realise my responsibilities, and I will mako an honest effort to pay," said bankrupt. " I will do tho best I can. 1 did not file to dodge my creditors." " Bankrupt has expressed his willingness to carry out the agreement to pay 10s a week, and on the iace of his earnings I do not see how bo can do more than that." remarked Mr. ( rowhurst. It was decided to arrange for the pavment of this sum, to be distributed among the creditors.
