RACES AT TE RAPA'*
The first day of the Waikato Boeing Club's Autumn Meeting was held at Te Rapa on Saturday. The weather which had looked very threatening earlier in the day turned out pleasantly warm and sunny. There was a large number of people in attendance, atid smart tailored costumes and winter coats were the predominating garb for the ladies. Among the many present were:—Mrs. Graham Mills, Mrs. E. E. Mrs. Norman Lethbridge entertained a number of friends to bridge on Tuesday afternoon at hrr home, Wairaka. Tho rooms were decorated with chrysanthemums and autumn flowers. Mrs. Lethbridge received her guests in a frock of figured georgette. Mrs. O'Sullivan was the winner of the first prize and Miss.' Fooke that of the hidden number. Thoso ' present were: Mesdanes W. Kay, D. Kay, C. Blundell, J. O'Sullivan, Jeffreys, D. Williams, J. Oliphant, Peake, Skermam, Chamberlain and the Misses Focke, Martin, Kav, Peake and Renshaw (Tauranga).
