KAITUNA RIVER BANKS.
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORHESPONPEN'T. 1 TE PUKE, Sunday. At a meeting of the Knituna River Board yesterday a report was rend from the engineer giving an estimato of three proposed additional cuts to remove the bends from tlio river banks. It was decided to ask the Minister of Lands, Hon. G. W. Forbes, for a grant of £750 for urgent works.
