The, suggestion in foreign quarters in (connection with the reparation discussion that foreign banks are withdrawing their deposits from Germany lias elicited a Bemi-otlicial statement. This characterises the report as a deliberate undermining pf German credit.
If tho veiled suggestion leads to tho jwithdrtfwaL of deposits, says the statement, the- public, will know by whom the signal lias- been given, but so far there lias been no trace of withdrawals. V' - /
