NEW APPOINTMENTS. British Wireless. RUGBY, April 23. Lord Shaw has resigned his office as Lord of Appeal in Ordinary. The King has conferred a barony upon him upon his retirement after 20 years' service. His Majesty has appointed the Right Hon. William Watson, Lord Advocate for Scotland, (o bo Lord of Appeal in Ordinary. Tho King has also approved the appointment of.Mr. Alexander Macßobert, Solicitor-Genet.l.l for Scotland, to bo Lord Advocate, and tho appointment of Mr. Wilfrid Normand to bo Solicitor-General for Scotland.
