Titirangi and Glen Eden -were visited V«y the Hon. J. B. Donald, PostmasterGeneral, accompanied by Mr. H. G. R. Mason, MP., on Wednesday. At the former centre a deputation of residents asked for a daily rural mail delivery from New Lynn. The retention of the Titirangi office was desired, and it was also asked that an afternoon mail be made

up for the city. A deputation, representing the Glen ■Eden Town Board, headed by the chairman, Mr. W. E. Martin, later met the Minister with a request for a new post office for Glen Eden. It was contended the facilities at the present office were inadequate, and it was suggested to the Minister that a suitable site for a new office should be purchased, near the centre of the township. The Minister, in the case of both representations, promised to make inquiries.
