Distinct . progress has been}', jnade by tho committee of the Onehunga Free Kindergarten in its decision to buy a section in Jlill Street, where it is proposed to erect a building in order k>- carry out more efficiently .the care of infants. Plans have been prepared, and a contract for the building wiif be let as soon' as the funds in hand have increased sufficiently. This week a jumble sale in. the Coronation Hall made a substantial addition to the funds. . Stalls were under the charge of Mrs. Murdoch, president, Mrs. Chapman, secretary, .Miss -Watkin, treasurer, and Mes.dames Neill, Cuthbert, Kirk. Macklow. E. F. Jones and E. V. Sutherland.
