MISS SFENCER'S DANCE.
The dance which was held by Miss Spencer at her dance studio in Symonds Street on Saturday evening was a very bright and cheery affair. The music played by Mr. J. Rowe s orchestra was inspiriting, and Sowers and pot plants effectively decorated the hall. Among those who were present were: — Mrs. Spencer, who wore a frock of black and white satin and georgette; Miss Spencer, bois de rose crepe de chine trimmed with black and jade green diamante; Miss Peet, frilled white crepe de chine and Spanish shawl: Miss D. Robinson. beige crepe de chine; Miss Doris Slater, primrose velvet finished with tame hem; Miss Ussher, powder blue and beige taffeta: Miss C. Herbert, ivory embossed chenille; .Miss Cuipan, white georgette and tulle; Miss Marjorie Hinge, cyclamen crepe de chine; Miss E. Jackson, black crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss Fox, claret ring velvet; Miss E. Fox, shell pink crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss M. Robertson, silver and blue lace frock; Miss Marshall, blush pink crepe de chine; Miss G. Eerrin, larkspur blue georgette embroidered in silver; Miss 0. Goodess, peach pink satin beaute; Miss D. Mortem. frock of opal blue satin trimmed with silver lace; Miss Bruce. Burgundy red georgette and tulle; Miss Kent, almond green taffeta; Miss D. King, black ring velvet with skirt finished with godets of silver lace. Miss A. Stewart wore deep pink taffeta; Miss Hoey, powder bine crepe de chine frock; Miss E. Miine, white crepe de chine; Miss M. Booth, cense shot taffeta; Miss Leiiz, Air Force blue crepe de chine with side panels of georgette: Miss Willetts, primrose and blue georgette; Miss P. Wheatley, Naples blue crepe de chine with uneven hem; Miss Joy Hunter, moss green satin trimmed with gold lace and tulle; Miss Godfrey, snnglow pink crepe de chine and tulle; Miss Joan Finch, mauve crepe de chine and taffeta with large hip bow of tulle; Miss Leighton, floral ninon with large bow at shoulder; Miss Joyce Johnston, ciei blue taffeta: Miss Mavis Graham, apricot bended georgette; Miss G. Harper, jade green taffeta finished with rosebuds: Miss Doris Menzies. Nile green taffeta and tulle; Miss Meredith, cherry georgette frilled to the waist; Miss K. Dawson, rose marie taffeta trimmed with diamante and lace.
