FLIGHT TO CAPETOWN.
BAD WEATHER IN AFRICA.
CANCELLATION REPORTED.
Australian Press Association—United Service (Received April 21, 11.15 p.m.) LONDON, April 21.
In consequence of the seasonal bad weather in Central Africa the proposed flight to Capetown by members of the Royal Air Force has been cancelled in favour of another destination, probably Calcutta.
The flight was to have been made in a Fairey monoplane, piloted by SquadronLeader A. G. Jones-Williams and FlightLieutenant E. V. Williams. The object was to make a record duration flight.
