A sensation was caused by a "hold-up" at (lie Bank of Ireland in Tipperary today. Tho bank's office is in tho centre of tho cifv.
Two young men, who were armed, drove up at mid-day in a motor-car and entered the bank. Tliey ordered eight customers and tho bank officials to hold up their arms, and compelled them to face the wall. One man covered them with revolvers while the other man scooped up money. They both escaped in the motor-car.
