Rising steadily from those parts, Hall achieved success as ieadmg man in a number of big stage productions on /Broadway, and was playing the lead in "The Matinee Girl " when he was signed by Paramount for featured parts in motion pictures. James Hall's first picture for Paramount was " The Campus Flirt," in which he played ttyj lead opposite Miss Bebe Uaniels. A to\e opposite Miss Pola in " Hotel Imperial," followed, find then another with Miss Daniels in "Stranded in Paris." Lately actor has played featured parts in " The Canary Murder Case " and " The Case of Lena . Bmith." The latter picture has just been ' completed at the Paramount studios.
