James Ilall, Paramount featured player, *'as born in Dallas, Texas, on October 22. 1900. lie received ins education there, and then, feeling the lure »-l tlie stage, went tu New York. His tirsi experience consisted of small parts in touring legitimate shown ami in musical comedy. Rising steadily from those parts, Hall achieved success as ieadmg man in a number of big stage productions on /Broadway, and was playing the lead in "The Matinee Girl " when he was signed by Paramount for featured parts in motion pictures. James Hall's first picture for Paramount was " The Campus Flirt," in which he played ttyj lead opposite Miss Bebe Uaniels. A to\e opposite Miss Pola in " Hotel Imperial," followed, find then another with Miss Daniels in "Stranded in Paris." Lately actor has played featured parts in " The Canary Murder Case " and " The Case of Lena . Bmith." The latter picture has just been ' completed at the Paramount studios.
