BIBLE INSTITUTE.
AUCKLAND ACTIVITIES. The monthly meeting of tho Auckland branch of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute was held this week, Mr. R. L. Stewart presiding. The following were appointed representatives of the institute in their respective districts: —The Rev. L. A. Day, Whangarei; Mr. F. Discombe, Cambridge; Mr. Stanley Muir, Gisborne; the Rev. Adam Clark, Oamaru. _ _ Invitations extended to the institute evangelist, Air. Andrew Johnston, a, blind ex-soldier, to conduct missions in various New Zealand churches were approved. The secretary reported there were St) resident and three non-resident students attending the institute. Over 80 fjtu* dents were enrolled in tho Biblical, ooctrinal or practical Bible correspondence courses of the institute. Missionary addresses had been given by Pastoi W. Mnllis, director of tho South Seas Evangelical Mission, Mr. J. E. Mallis, of India, Miss Burnet, of Japan, Dr. Varley. of the Sudan, the Rev. D. Calder, secretary of the Bible Society, and Miss Deck, of the Solomon Islands.
